Why This Exists
Democratees didn't start in a boardroom. There are no investors. No corporate backers. Just me — a guy working two jobs, learning everything from scratch, trying to show my kids that you can do good and do well at the same time.
I've got a wife and two young boys counting on me. And I kept asking myself: what kind of world are they growing up in? Billionaires buying elections. Families detained without due process. Rights stripped away while we doomscroll and rage-tweet and feel completely powerless to stop any of it.
I was doing the same thing. Yelling at my phone. Going nowhere.
At some point, anger without action just eats you alive.
So I built something.
I taught myself everything — Shopify, design, automation, marketing — late at night, after my shifts. Not because I'm a tech genius. Because I needed to prove to my kids that regular people can build things that matter. That you don't have to choose between keeping the lights on and fighting for a better world.
That's Democratee's. Giving back isn't a feature. It's the whole point.
This Is Operation Outreach
Every month, we run a mission.
Three vetted organizations make the ballot. The DOO-Gooders vote. One org wins the month's donation pool. We post the receipt. Then we do it again.
That's the loop: Buy → Vote → Watch → Celebrate → Share.
No vague “portion of proceeds.” No mystery. Every dollar is tracked publicly. Every receipt is posted. Every month, the community decides where the money goes.

Every shirt adds $5 to that month's donation pool. You vote on-site for which featured nonprofit gets it. We post the receipts when the month ends.
We spotlight organizations tackling voting rights, reproductive freedom, climate justice, immigrant rights, and all the other battles keeping you up at 2am.
